smc游戏打包下载采用百度引擎5(Baidu 9)k Widow 2 set in the five-year gap between Thanos s (Josh Brolin) death and Scott Lang s (Paul Rudd) return from the Quantum Realm. Would Natasha be as weary as she seems in Endgame? Why would she feel that way if she reestablished ties with Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz), and Alexi Shostakov (David Harbour). Did they get Blipped? Or did another falling out occur, leaving her to run the Avengers with occasional in-person visits from Steve Rogers (Chris Evans)? Alternatively, a sequel could see Nat and Yelena teaming up for another quip-filled adventure as the Red Room still needs further dismantling. Also, we ll point out here that another objective of Black Widow was to establish Yelena as a major Marvel player going forward, so we expect any Black Widow sequel would feature her. That said, a Marvel more comfortable with prequels could go back to the Budapest operation (even if we got the gist of what transpired in Black Widow) or even focus on a story in which Natasha is the villain during her time as a Red Room agent. More prequels mean more possibilities while still maintaining the deaths and actions of certain characters a feat even the comics can t pull off!Implications for the Hawkeye Disney+ Series(Photo by ©Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures)But speaking of Yelena, the film s most direct nod to Phase Four comes during the film s post-credit stinger, when the former Black Widow accepts a mission to hunt down Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), a thread that will be picked up in the upcoming Hawkeye television series. Shot in late 2020 and early 2021, the Disney+ series will see Clint training or assisting Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a new Hawkeye with issues all her own. Also, we re pretty sure they re going to run afoul of tracksuit-loving mobsters and adopt an adorable golden retriever with a love of pizza. The project was one of Marvel Studios worst kept secrets, with its existence long-rumored and Steinfeld s part in it leaking a year before the studio made the news official and even then, photos of the actor in costume appeared on the internet a good week before studio president Kevin Feige finally confirmed her participation at the December 2020 Disney Investor s Day presentation. Another rumor about the show indicated Pugh would be making her first post-Black Widow appearance in the series. Then, in December of 2020, it was reported that Pugh officially joined the cast of the series alongside a handful of others. Just a couple of days ago, in an interview with Variety specifically about the post-credits stinger at the end of Black Widow, director Cate Shortland and Pugh essentially confirmed what everyone suspected when Pugh confessed that she didn’t ever really imagine that [her role in the MCU] would continue quite so quickly. It s worth noting, though, that as Black Widow was originally slated for release last year, the Hawkeye reference sets up something well into the Disney+ slate. It sidesteps the initially announced programs in favor of what will be Marvel Studio s sixth television program, although there is a nod to another TV show we ll talk about in a moment. As it stands now, Hawkeye will debut less than year after Black Widow, which means Yelena will be fresher in viewer s minds when she inevitably beats the living daylights out of Clint. The Contessa As Phase Four s Fury(Photo by ©Walt Disney Company)Of course, the stinger also features an appearance by Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). According to Feige, she was always meant to debut in Black Widow, with the stinger serving as a forward link to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. But since her debut ended up occurring in that series, the Contessa s appearance here has a slightly different effect it amplifies, rather than establishes, the notion that she s serving as Phase Four s answer to Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). As we theorized after TFaTWS s finale, the Contessa is collecting a team of her own. From her conversation with Yelena, we can gather that Yelena already works for her by the time she learns of Natasha s death on Vormir. But just what is the Contessa s aim in building her own Avengers? The character s comic book history offer some clues, as the character evolved into the most adept rogue agent ever trained. In her lifetime as a comic book character, she has betrayed S.H.I.E.L.D., Hydra, and seemingly Leviathan, although she could still be loyal to that group. So far in the MCU, the Contessa s subordinates include an ex-Russian spy and a failed Captain America. That doesn t feel like an accident, despite whatever promise of glory and country she feeds to John Walker (Wyatt Russell).(Photo by ©Walt Disney Company)Is it possible she runs the current incarnation of the MCU s Leviathan, the Soviet scientific research and espionage agency we mentioned in our round-up of Five Things to Remember Before You See Black Widow? Like Hydra, it was built to survive, and she could easily be its director. Then again, she could be working with Fury. The two have a long history in the comics, and she could be collecting Phase Four characters on his behalf. The motive: a further defense against whatever foe is up in space that Fury is planning for with the Skrulls (as glimpsed in the Far From Home post-post-credits stinger). But that all depends on whether or not the Contessa is in any way altruistic.Lastly, there is always the possibility that she herself is a Skrull and furthering an agenda to be revealed in Secret Invasion another Phase Four Disney+ series due next year.No matter the true answer, it is interesting to see a character assembling a new team for a shadowy purpose.Taskmaster As A Continuing Threat(Photo by Jay Maidment/©Marvel Studios)We admit this one may be built on a flimsy premise Marvel seemingly cast Olga Kurylenko for a two-line role in Black Widow. But a face as familiar as hers suggests to us that we will see Taskmaster again. For one thing, she s a great hand-to-hand foe. Imagine Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) or Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) facing an opponent who knows their every move. Try to think of the quip Clint will deliver after she squarely trounces him.But beyond the physical threat she poses to just about everyone, there is also a further story to tell about her. As opposed to her comic book counter, who is often just a mercenary, Antonia s story is one of trauma and the horrible realization that her own father put her in this situation. How will she come to terms with that? Will her freedom from mind control and apparent turn away from evil at the end of Black Widow actually stick, or will her anger lead her down the villain s path? If the latter, will she be clever enough to organize some of the villains herself, or will she fall in with someone like Helmut Zemo (Daniel Brühl)?(Photo by Adrienn Szabo/©Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures)Come to think of it, one of the few things Marvel Studios has yet to attempt is a villain team-up. Is it time for the Masters of Evil? Granted, they ll need a slight rebranding as that name hardly suits Zemo s style or politics.Marvel could also utilize Taskmaster as a recurring villain, which the franchise has done on occasion (not counting big bads like Thanos or Loki). Antagonists generally die or get completely de-fanged by the end of a Marvel movie, and one of comic book Taskmaster s great strengths is his resiliency. Antonia could prove more successful at the recurring villain role than Crossbones (Frank Grillo) or Batroc (Georges St-Pierre). Also, as Taskmaster fights everyone in the comics, Antonia could appear in anything from an Eternals sequel to the Moon Knight series to Blade.Black Widow is in theaters and streaming on Disney+ with Premier Access now.On an Apple device? Though Unhinged and The New Mutants ultimately beat it into theaters, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet has been held up for months as the film that was going to help bring moviegoers back to the big screen. The numbers are certainly on the rise with the tentpole flick finally released, but do they indicate a genuine resurgence in theater-going? Let s dig in.King of the Crop: Tenet Brings Some Moviegoers Back, But How Far Can it Go?(Photo by Melinda Sue Gordon / © Warner Bros. / Courtesy Everett Collection)From the weekend of March 20 up until the weekend of August 14, no film was able to crack the million mark to top the box office. Up until some releases from August 14 on, the big winners of the summer were horror releases from IFC Midnight: The Wretched (.81 million total), The Rental (.56 million), and Relic (.04 million); the studio had only had seven films gross over a million dollars between 2017 and 2019. Beyond that, retro releases like Jurassic Park (,386,600), The Empire Strikes Back (,015,000), The Goonies (5,000), Jaws (8,300), and Ghostbusters (5,000) were the big winners. On August 14, Paramount released their once-planned May release of The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run, but only in Canada where it has grossed over .4 million to date. A week later Solstice Studios laid claim to the first wide release since March 13 when it unleashed Unhinged into theaters, earning million in 1,823 theaters for a ,194 per-theater-average. The week after, it was finally time for The New Mutants, which grossed .03 million in 2,412 theaters for a ,917 per-theater-average. This weekend it was Tenet’s turn.(Photo by Melinda Sue Gordon / © Warner Bros. / Courtesy Everett Collection)Evaluating just how these recent releases have been doing with many theaters still not operating and responsible social distancing limiting the amount of patrons in any auditorium may be a fool’s game. But numbers can be read through history and, until further trends reveal themselves, the way we have been looking at them is through an estimation of how they may have done in a normal year. That led to the evaluation that the current box office leaders have been doing somewhere around 2.5-to-3-times less than they may have the previous year. Looking ahead to Tenet this weekend, we looked back at Nolan’s most recent non-Batman/non-DiCaprio offerings and saw that Interstellar opened to .5 million (in November 2014) and Dunkirk started with .5 million (in July of 2017). So somewhere in the high teens, up to around million, felt like a confident bet with realistic expectations heading into the weekend. And that is where the movie landed, with an estimated .2 million over the four-day holiday weekend, as well as from scattered advance screenings going back to Monday.Labeling this as either good or disappointing is still premature. After all, Tenet pretty much has theaters all to itself through the month of September until Warner Bros. challenges itself directly with Wonder Woman 1984 on October 2. One thing that does seem to be true is that – whatever the size of the audience may be – word-of-mouth appears to continue to remain a factor in these films staying power. Unhinged has fallen into a similar pattern as other adult-themed late-August releases such as 2002’s Undisputed (.54 million opening / .76 million total), 2012’s Hit Run (.52 million / .74 million), and 2013’s vehicular thriller Getaway (.5 million / .5 million). Unhinged’s estimated .67 million this weekend brings its total to .3 million after 17 days. The New Mutants, on other hand, dropped 59% from its million start, bringing its 10-day total to .6 million (.2 million with the holiday). That may be more than August 2018’s mutant-esque Fox offering, The Darkest Minds, had at this point (.98 million after a .84 million start), but let’s also look back at six August releases from 2011-16 that opened between .5-.5 million for some further comparison: Mechanic: Resurrection, You’re Next, Our Idiot Brother, Jobs, Ricki and the Flash, and Florence Foster Jenkins had each earned between million and .64 million after 10 days. In August 2017, another long-delayed and ultimately critically-reviled adaptation, The Dark Tower, opened to .1 million, dropped 59.2% in its second weekend, and had .2 million after 10 days. Divide that by three and you have .4 million, just shy of The New Mutants’ current total. That suggests Mutants could be headed for a final theatrical tally between .9 million and .3 million. It’s a single example, but maybe there is something to the rule of three in measuring current box office totals. So where does that leave Tenet? Dunkirk and Interstellar finished with near-identical grosses of 8,045,546 and 8,020,017, and no one is expecting those kind of heights. With theaters more widely opened overseas than in the U.S., Tenet has grossed over 0 million worldwide so far. Using our crude formula, Tenet would have grossed somewhere between .5 million and .6 million in a normal time, which would have made it just the fourth film to open higher than million in the month of September, a feat achieved just the past three years with the It films and 2018’s The Nun. Living directly with the numbers we have now, only one film this century has gone on to gross over 0 million when starting with less than million, and that was 20 years ago with Remember the Titans. The rest of the historical September releases that opened between million and million have an average final gross of million. It will be interesting to see whether Tenet will face smaller week-on-week drops given the lack of competition, or whether the numbers will drop off as might normally be expected, especially given that Tenet is also the second-lowest rated Nolan film on the Tomatometer at 74%. (Interstellar stands at 72%.)On This Weekend s Dates In Box Office History (Photo by © Warner Bros. )With so little action in our current-day box office, we re casting our eyes back this week.September 4: In a bit of symmetry, Christopher Nolan’s Inception crossed 5 million with .69 million on its 51st day of release 10 years ago.September 5: In 2016, Suicide Squad grossed .77 million on its 32nd day of release to cross 0 million. In 2011, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows made 8,509 on day 53 of its release. It took 74 days for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to make it to 0 million, which it did on this day in 2009 pulling in 3,311.September 6: Night Shyamalan’s Signs grossed .29 million to pass the 0 million mark on its 36th in 2002. That same day, Sam Mendes’ Road to Perdition made 0,349 to get over the 0 million hump on its 57th day. It only took 24 days for Neill Blomkamp’s District 9 to do it with .74 million on this date in 2009. This has also been a good date for Universal sequels. In 2003, American Wedding made 4,145 to pass 0 million on its 37th day; then in 2008, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor made 7,455 to pass 0 million, also on its 37th day. Of course, that was nothing compared to Disney’s The Lion King redux making 1,156 to pass 5 million on its 50th day in theaters just last year.September 7: In 2012, another Universal sequel, The Bourne Legacy, grossed .13 million to cross 0 million on day 29 of its theatrical run. That was a lot faster than Adam Sandler’s You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, which finally crossed the 0 million mark with ,114 on its 94th day of release in 2008.What Should Have Been This Weekend(Photo by © Paramount)At one time, this weekend belonged to A Quiet Place Part II, one of the first films moved out of its original opening slots back in March. It is now slated to open on April 23, 2021. The original Labor Day weekend slate – before any of the COVID-19 upheavals – was meant to include Paul W.S. Anderson’s Monster Hunter, with Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa. Now it will open alongside John Krasinski’s sequel on the same date next year. Peter Jackson’s documentary, The Beatles: Get Back, about the band’s rooftop concert, will now open on August 27 of next year.On the Vine: Broken Hearts Heading to Theaters OnlyThe widest release in theaters next week will be the romantic comedy, The Broken Hearts Gallery, starring Geraldine Viswanathan, who you may know from from Blockers and Bad Education. The film was supposed to open in July, was then delayed to August until finally settling in for a September release, exclusively in theaters.Erik Childress can be heard each week evaluating box office on WGN Radio with Nick Digilio as well as on Business First AM with Angela Miles and his Movie Madness Podcast.[box office figures via Box Office Mojo] 在游戏研发过程中,端游原作开发团队OMEGAFORCE全程参与了手游的研发指导与监修,铃木亮浩也表示手游各方面的表现均达到了光荣的监修要求。在原汁原味的真三体验之外,诸多创新与突破不仅让真三IP更富延展性,也值得玩家的更多探索与发现。

The 92nd Academy Awards will go down in the history books, with Bong Joon-ho s Parasite becoming the first ever foreign-language movie to win Best Picture. And while Parasite s four wins were definitely major highlights of the host-free ceremony – not just because of Joon-ho s promises to get royally wasted after the event – they weren t the only big moments in a night that was marked by some genuinely funny presenters, megastar wins, and a feeling that the right people and movies were winning in the right categories.Recommended: The Full List of 2020 Oscar Winners and NominationsRecommended: The 2020 Oscars Red Carpet GalleryRecommended: The 2020 Best Picture Nominees, Ranked by TomatometerRecommended: All the Winners of the Golden Tomato AwardsThe moments began before the ceremony itself, with Natalie Portman s Dior cape making one of the few political statements of the night (with the exception of Brad Pitt s first remarks upon accepting his award and Joaquin Phoenix s speech, this was a fairly politics-lite Oscars). And then they kept coming thick and fast: incredible music performances, a superhero super team, and shock wins.Check out our pick of the best moments of the 92nd Academy Awards below, and let us know what you thought of the show in the comments below. Natalia Portman Makes A Statement With Her Cape Full of Female Directors(Photo by Steve Granitz/WireImage) Those men might have been the ones congratulated by Issa Rae when the Best Director contenders were announced on nominations morning, but it was a group of talented ladies that was celebrated in a very special way on the red carpet on Oscars night. Among those honored in Portman s gold stitching: The Farewell director Lulu Wang, Little Women director Greta Gerwig, Atlantics director Mati Diop, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood director Marielle Heller, Portrait of a Lady On Fire director Céline Sciamma, and Honey Boy director Alma Har el.Janelle Monáe Kicks Things Off With Mr. Rogers and Dancing DoppelgängersNo host doesn’t mean no killer opening musical number. The 2020 Oscars kicked off with Janelle Monáe – joined for a spell by Billy Porter – paying tribute to some of the year’s best films. Monáe entered the stage on a Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood-like set, pulled on a red cardigan, and sang “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”, before transitioning to her hit “Come Alive (The War of the Roses) surrounded by dancers dressed as the Joker, Queen and Slim, Midsommar cultists, and other characters from the year’s movies. Cherry, who said he made the film to “normalize Black hair” and drew the crowd’s attention California’s CROWN Act, which would protect against discrimination based on hairstyling. Cherry, a former NFL player, dedicated the win to the late Kobe Bryant, saying, “May we all have a second act as great as his was.”Screenplay Surprises: Parasite (2019) 98% and Jojo Rabbit (2019) 80% Win Big Against the Big GunsSome pundits – ahem, us – predicted these two wins, but safer money had Quentin Tarantino winning Best Original Screenplay for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Best Adapted Screenplay going to Greta Gerwig for Little Women. When Bong Joon-ho and Han Jin-won were announced as winners for Original Screenplay, the room erupted, with stars like Sandra Oh leaping to their feet to celebrate Parasite’s first win of the night. Joon-ho could barely contain his excitement, beaming as he stared at his award as if to say, “Is this really happening?”. Waititi dedicated his win to his mom – or, for Waititi, who signed off with the Maori greeting of “kia ora,” his mum – who introduced him to the book on which Jojo Rabbit was based, Caging Skies.MAYA RUDOLPH and Kristen Wiig Show Why They Should be the Next Oscar Hosts Though Billie Eilish Might not AgreeBy far the best presenters of the evening – and let’s be honest, perhaps of any awards show we’ve seen lately – were Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig, who presented the awards for Production Design and Costume Design. They kicked things off with a bit in which they said they were too upset, too steamed, to carry out their duties, before revealing they were acting! Why? To show the likes of Scorsese and Tarantino that they had the range to be cast in their films, of course: “We just wanted them to know we do more than comedy.” In their intro to the costume award, they then sang a medley of clothes-related tunes that ranged from “Vogue” and “Lady in Red” to Sisqo’s “Thong Song.” Hilarious. (The only person who wasn’t into it seemed to be singer Billie Eilish.)Laura Dern Wins First Oscar for Marriage Story (2019) 94% and Pays Tribute to Her ParentsIf it is hard to believe that three-time nominee Laura Dern hadn’t won an Oscar before tonight, it’s even harder to believe that she is now the first and only Oscar winner in her family – a family in which dad is Bruce Dern and mom is Diane Ladd. With an emotional Ladd watching on, Dern thanked the Academy for “the best birthday present ever” and saluted her mom and dad. “Some say never meet your heroes,” Dern said, “but I say if you’re really blessed, you get them as your parents.”Eminem Shows Up To Perform Lose Yourself, Because… Music?!(Photo by Kevin Winter/Getty Images)Following a fairly earnest montage tribute to the power of songs in film introduced by Lin-Manuel Miranda (who was himself introduced by Anthony Ramos), Eminem took the stage for a room-shaking – and heavily censored – performance of “Lose Yourself.” The song, featured in 8 Mile, won the Oscar for Best Original Song in 2003, making Eminem the first hip hop artist to win an Academy Award. Why exactly the song was performed tonight, though, remains something of a mystery. Still, the crowd got into it, with the likes of Kelly Marie Tran and Gal Gadot moving and mouthing along. The same could not be said for Martin Scorsese, who appeared to find the song a little, er, sleepy.Cynthia Erivo Takes the Dolby Theatre to ChurchNot much to say about this: Just watch and listen as Cynthia Erivo performs the Oscar-nominated Stand Up from Harriet. The performance was followed in the commercial break by a well-timed trailer for Genius: Aretha, the upcoming History event in which Erivo plays Aretha Franklin. The Cats Cast Shows They Have a Sense of HumorWearing two costumes that perhaps the filmmakers should have gone with for the actual film, Cats co-stars Rebel Wilson and James Corden presented the award for Best Visual Effects. As cast members of the motion picture Cats, said Wilson, nobody more than us understands the importance of good visual effects. You ll remember that Cats went into theaters with its own effects unfinished.Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, and Ripley UniteGal Gadot, Brie Larson, and Sigourney Weaver had us dreaming of universe crossovers when they took the stage to introduce composer Eimear Nooneis, who led the orchestra as it played the snippets from Best Original Score nominees and in so doing became the first female to lead the orchestra in the Oscars’ history. The trio said they were going to start a Fight Club, and that men were invited, but Gadot warned: “The loser gets to answer questions from journalists about how it feels to be a woman in Hollywood.” Weaver added, “All women are superheroes.” Fittingly, Best Original Score went to Hildur Guðnadóttir for Joker, who became the third woman to win in the category.Joaquin Phoenix Gets His Oscar For Joker (2019) 68%, Quotes Brother River In Moving Talk of JusticeJoaquin Phoenix was quick to ask the crowd to stop as it rose to its feet after Olivia Colman – hilarious as ever in her intro – announced him as Best Actor for Joker. Phoenix was visibly moved by the honor, and took the opportunity on stage to talk about the unifying thread between so many political movements – whether fighting racism or gender inequality or fighting for queer, indigenous, or animal rights , we re talking about the fight against injustice, Phoenix said. He went on to talk about our responsibility to all sentient beings and the environment and finished his remarks, choking up a little, as he quoted a lyric written by his late brother River: “Run to the rescue with love and peace will follow.”Renée Zellweger s Comeback Is Complete It was not the most surprising win of the night, but it was one of the most moving. Renée Zellweger accepted the award in tribute to the woman she plays in Judy: Miss Garland this is certainly for you. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite (2019) 98% Sweeps the Night, Becomes First Foreign-Language Movie to Win Best PictureParasite made history as the first foreign-language film to ever win Best Picture at the Oscars, crowning the evening with the night’s biggest award having already taken out Best International Feature, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Director for Bong Joon-ho. When Joon-ho accepted South Korea’s first ever win – off its first nomination – for Best International Feature Film (formerly Best Foreign Language Film) earlier in the night, he called upon the cast and crew of Parasite to stand and for the crowd to applaud their work, saying he was proud to be the first recipient of the award under its new name. He finished that acceptance speech in English, saying, “I’m ready for a drink tonight,” and later, accepting the award for Best Director, said, “I will be drunk until next morning.”During that speech, Joon-ho paid tribute to his fellow directing nominees, with particular affection given to Martin Scorsese, whose films Joon-ho said he had studied and inspired his love for film.Thumbnail images courtesy Kevin Winter/Getty ImagesWhat were your biggest highlights of the night? The show is a remake of the 1985-89 CBS series that starred Edward Woodward, and the 2014 and 2018 movies that starred Denzel Washington.Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Good Place creator Mike Schur is teaming with Broad City writers Lucia Aniello, Paul W. King of the Crop: Shazam! Could be the Ant-Man of the DCEU(Photo by @ Warner Bros. Pictures)DC’s Shazam! led the box office with .45 million this weekend, on top of the .3 million it earned in early preview screenings. That was higher than projections. Even though that is the lowest opening in the DC Extended Universe, knocking the film for that fact would be like giving Ant-Man a hard time for not living up to the numbers of Captain America or Iron Man. Shazam! is a different beast than the mostly darker offerings from the DCEU, something that critics appear to dig. Shazam! has scored a 91% on the Tomatometer, just shy of the 92% of Wonder Woman. That is also higher than two of the Christopher Nolan Batman films – Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises – which are a universe apart from the current DC crop.Shazam! now currently owns the ninth-best opening weekend ever in April; that will be knocked back to 10th on April 26 when Avengers: Endgame opens. Among the 10 films that had the biggest ever April openings, the low bar for ultimate totals has been set by Fast and Furious (5 million) and 2010’s Clash of the Titans (3.2 million). The two best multiples among April’s top 10 were earned by A Quiet Place (3.74 times its opening weekend) and 2016’s The Jungle Book (3.52). Their Tomatometer scores were both 95%. Audience word-of-mouth looks to be solid for Shazam!, which bodes well for its future. The R-rated Hellboy is unlikely to eat into the DC hit s core audience, and if it can maintain a drop less than 45% it should be on track to earn at least 2 million, and potentially out-earn the original Ant-Man’s 0 million.Rotten Returns: Best Of Enemies Struggles to Find Allies (Photo by @ STX)The Best of Enemies opened with .5 million from 1,705 theaters, representing STX Entertainment s seventh-lowest opening per-theater-average. Critics were mixed on the the movie – it has a 52% Tomatometer score – and audiences didn t show up in impressive numbers. STX had a better month back in January with their Weinstein Co. pickup, The Upside, which remains one of the five highest-grossing films of the year with 7 million. That was the second-best tally (behind Bad Moms) for the studio in its nearly four-year history. The Rest of the Top 10 and Beyond: Stephen King Continues to Draw Crowds, but Can Sematary Match the Original?(Photo by Paramount Pictures)A smart bit of counter-programming from Paramount Pictures saw the newest take on Stephen King s Pet Sematary land in second place with million, despite a less than stellar response from critics. The movie received glowing reviews after its premiere at the South By Southwest Film Festival, but is now just barely Fresh with 61% on the Tomatometer. That is better than the reviews for Mary Lambert’s 1989 verion of Pet Sematary (48% with 31 reviews), but without strong word-of-mouth there may now be some doubt that the new movie can reach the .4 million that the original film made 30 years ago. (That is about 7 million in today’s dollars.)There seems little hope that directors Kevin Kölsch Dennis Widmyer’s version can match those inflation numbers off of a million weekend. Among eight horror films that have opened between million and million, only The Visit and 2005’s The Amityville Horror managed to pass million. (Each actually made .2 million.) Another two films – the 2013 s Evil Dead and 2015 s Poltergeist – appear to be more in line with audience response and dropped a respective 63.2% and 64.4% in their second weekends. Tune in next week to see which way Pet Sematary goes.(Photo by @ Universal)Meanwhile, another horror film is climbing the charts of the all-timers. Jordan Peele’s Us is now ahead of 2018’s Halloween after 17 days, with 2.3 million vs. the latter film s 0.2 million total. That’s the second-highest ever for a horror film. It also bested Halloween’s third weekend (.8 million to .8 million). Pet Sematary took some viewers away from Us this weekend but more people will still be talking about Us next week as it continues to forge a path towards 0 million. Its international total is 6.5 million. One film not headed to 0 million – at least not on the domestic front – is Tim Burton’s Dumbo. It is the 13th film from Disney released in over 3,000 theaters to drop 60% or more in its second weekend. With million after 10 days that puts Dumbo behind 1999’s Tarzan, Lilo Stitch, and Wild Hogs on the Disney charts. The film has made an additional 7.5 million internationally for a total of 3 million to date. It is going to need more than half-a-billion to break even.Good thing that Captain Marvel’s numbers are still looking super. Its 4 million domestic take is the 19th highest gross ever after 31 days of release. And the .6 million it earned this weekend is the 21st best fifth weekend ever. It is now the 37th film to cross the billion mark globally (and the seventh Marvel Cinematic Universe film to do so) and it continues to climb both of those charts. This weekend it also become the 30th highest-grossing film ever. This Time Last Year: A Quiet Place Began Its Record-Breaking Run(Photo by Jonny Cournoyer/Paramount)John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place opened to .2 million, beginning its run towards becoming one of the biggest horror films of all time. The Universal comedy Blockers came in third with .5 million and the Ted Kennedy drama Chappaquiddick opened in seventh with .7 million. Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One was just two days away from passing 0 million domestically. That movie s .6 million second weekend helped the top 10 films gross a total of 0.86 million with an average Tomatometer score of 60.9%. This year’s top 10 grossed an estimated 8.59 million and averaged 64.7% on the Tomatometer. On the Vine: Hellboy Offers Darker Fare, Little Riffs on Big(Photo by Eli Joshua Ade /@ Universal)If Shazam! was too family-friendly for you and you cannot wait until Avengers: Endgame, then Lionsgate’s reboot of Hellboy with Stranger Things’ David Harbour might satisfy your hunger for R-rated comic-book fare. Once there was Tom Hanks in Big, now Universal presents Regina Hall in Little, a modern reversal in every respect that sprung from the mind of 14-year-old black-ish star Marsai Martin. Laika Animation is back with its latest, Missing Link, and Aviron releases the adaptation of young adult novel, After. Then for one night only on Wednesday, April 10, you can see Terry Gilliam’s The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, a film 21 years in the making. The Full Top 10: April 5-7Shazam! Identity was a major theme in the Nov. 30 episode of Titans, Donna Troy. Kory (Anna Diop) was trying to recover her memory, Gar (Ryan Potter) was reconciling what it means to become a tiger, Rachel (Teagan Croft) was finally getting some time to know her mother, Angela (Rachel Nichols), and Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) was facing his own shattered identity after a recent run-in with the new Robin (Curran Walters) and the terror he experienced at the Organization’s asylum. Who better to talk to about these issues than the former Wonder Girl and Dick s oldest friend, Donna Troy, a comic book character defined as much by the constant revisions made to her identity as her constant presence in the Teen Titans line of comic books? On the show, Donna seems to be a rock-solid ex-superhero sidekick, but her history in the comics is not exactly set in stone. Rotten Tomatoes spoke with Conor Leslie, the world’s first live-action Donna Troy, about her comic book counterpart s crazy past and just who the character is in the world of Titans.Who Is Wonder Girl?(Photo by DC Universe)The concept of Wonder Girl predates Donna Troy. In 1958’s Wonder Woman #105, Wonder Girl was introduced as a younger version of Diana for a flashback tale. By 1961, Wonder Woman comics featured stories in which the grown up Diana, Wonder Girl, and even a Wonder Tot appeared simultaneously in an attempt to give Wonder Woman more of a domestic home life — even if her family was composed of these younger versions of herself and her mother Hippolyta. This original intention changed as writer Bob Haney began to treat Wonder Girl as a separate character and included her as a founding member of the Teen Titans in 1965’s The Brave and the Bold #60. The Diana version of Wonder Girl made one last appearance that same year in Wonder Woman #158, where she and Wonder Tot were seemingly “killed” by Wonder Woman editor Robert Kanigher.Wonder Girl transferred into the Teen Titans cast, but her name and new origin remained a mystery until 1969’s Teen Titans #22, when writer Marv Wolfman gave Wonder Girl the name “Donna Troy” and a backstory: She was an orphan Diana rescued from a burning building and took to Themyscira to be raised as an Amazon. The group of warrior women later gave her abilities similar to Wonder Woman via a fanciful bit of science-fiction convenience. But because the Wonder Girl character is older than Donna Troy, the character’s origins, powers, and motivations have always been malleable. Those changes are a major point Leslie noted while researching her new TV character.“As soon as I [started reading], I got overwhelmed because her backstory changes so dramatically,” she told Rotten Tomatoes. “I paused early on and talked to [producer and showrunner] Greg Walker to see where he and Geoff Johns wanted to go with all of this. If I had continued to fill my head with more information, it would’ve made my mind implode.”The 1987 revision of Wonder Woman s origin turned Donna into an active character that existed before Wonder Woman debuted in the new history, ushering in a revolving door of concepts to explain how there was a Wonder Girl before a Wonder Woman. For a time, she was a duplicate of Diana created as a playmate who was later kidnapped and placed in suspended animation, an incomplete fusion of other Donna

(Photo by CJ Entertainment/TMS Entertainment)What are you most proud of in your career so far?I really liked the Criterion essay that I did, because it was a way to go deep on one film. And I feel that it probably could have been double the length because there s so much to say about Parasite. But it was really wonderful to have the opportunity to both write about what mattered to me and then also write freely in the style that I want to write in.I will say that the recent cover story that I did for The Hollywood Reporter, for Minari, it felt like a fairly big coup. It felt like a personal coup. Not specifically because it was my first cover story, although that was also a big deal, but because I don t consider interviewing to be my biggest forte. It was just nice being good at something that I m not traditionally very good at.What’s an under-the-radar show that you think more people should be watching?I really hope that people are watching Chad. It s a TBS comedy starring Nasim Pedrad. For whatever reason, it s connecting with me a lot more than PEN15. Maybe just because I feel as a 30-something woman, I can relate in a lot of ways much more to a 12-year-old boy than a 15-year-old girl.I think Pedrad is doing an amazing performance. And I m just really enjoying everything that this show is doing, which is this combination of a puberty comedy that s about a boy who s afraid of puberty and sex. And it s also set in an Iranian-American home, and it deals with identity issues in a slightly different way than a lot of these shows that we used to see before. What’s a Rotten thing you love – movie or TV?I feel like the Alicia Vikander Tomb Raider got a really bad rap. That was one of my favorite action movies of that year. And I feel there was this really raw intensity and the visceral-ity to a lot of the action scenes that you just don t get in a standard action film, especially when it stars a woman. I was really glad to hear it got a sequel.(Photo by Walt Disney/courtesy Everett Collection)What is your favorite series or movies from your childhood?I m going to be a super basic b h and say The Little Mermaid. I think it s just one of those primal bonding things where it was, one of the very first movies that I watched in school, I think in the first grade. And I both remember the pleasure of it as a viewer and also like a tiny baby critic. You had that instinct even as a kid?I was a very annoying child.Did you always imagine that you would become a critic? No, because I had this vague idea in my head that I wanted to be some sort of writer, starting from when I was a preteen. But also, I grew up in a very immigrant working-class home. And so whenever these adults would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I would say “a writer,” my mom would get really mad because she was like, Well, that s not a way that you can really make a living. Because she doesn t know anyone really who was making a living doing that. What was the first time you saw yourself on screen?I think that one of the very first times I sort of felt represented on screen, or could see a version of myself on screen was when I was six, I was deeply obsessed with the Beetlejuice cartoon. It was basically this super morbid girl who was hanging out with a decaying corpse and a skeleton. And had this one polite demeanor around her family and at school, and then to let her imagination go wild when she was alone in a room. And I really identified with that. I just also loved how adorably disgusting all of the animation was in the world.I do think that part of the reason why it was an animated character that I related to so strongly was that it s a lot easier to project things on to animated characters, including race, because I never thought of Lydia as white. I just thought of her as a pale-faced like me.But I think that in the way that this question is generally formulated and understood, I remember having a real wow moment when I first saw Margaret Cho do stand-up on TV. I think I was probably 12 or 13. As I reflect on things that I have seen around Asian-American women telling jokes and taking pride in her sense of humor and the talking of a very openly about things like sex, I just remember discovering Margaret Cho and feeling like the world had opened up in some really major way. She s a pop-culture icon. I will always stan.

Still, it seems not even a pandemic can stop Hollywood s efforts to reward itself, with the Oscars, Golden Globes, and others determined that the shows – albeit delayed – will go on. And so, continuing our series of “Ridiculously Early Oscar Predictions,” we arrive at our Best Actress predictions. Yes, it s early given how little is known for sure, but this isn’t exactly a normal Oscar year.As with our Best Actor predictions, our Best Actress picks are basically educated guesswork. Several films have yet to be screened and there is still plenty of time for Oscar submissions. No matter what happens, the upcoming season will make history as the first in which films will not have to screen in theaters to contend for Hollywood’s top prizes, which sets up some intriguing possibilities for which films could break through and snag nominations. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) announced earlier this summer that the Oscars would be postponed by two months to April 25, 2021, and extended release-date eligibility rules to February 28, 2021, in addition to allowing streaming-only submissions and making all eligible films available on the Academy screening library, forgoing the typical member screenings.A number of films likely to be in the conversation have actually already screened and earned Tomatometer scores, and pundits are already singling out the major standout performances in them. Our list does include some performances yet to be seen, but for which pre-release buzz and expectations are high. With that said, some on this list may end up in the Supporting Actress category.Whether we like it or not, the campaigns are quietly underway, the conversation has started, and we’re now ready to join it. If history and basic math tell us anything, it is that most of these names won’t make it to Oscar night, but we’re pretty confident many of them will be right up there in the awards chatter. So please read on as we break down our ridiculously early picks for 2020 s Best Actress contenders.Don t agree with our picks? Have at us in the comments.Julia Garner

(Photo by Screen Gems. Thumbnail: Warner Bros /courtesy Everett Collection.)The Worst Remakes of All Time, According to the TomatometerSecond time s the harm for these Rotten remakes, proving that some movies are so nice, no need to make them twice. From a sand-in-your-pants Madonna vehicle to plenty of horror (especially remakes of international features), each critically-trashed film here scored less than 10% on the Tomatometer, so these are the biggest misses among misguided movie ventures. And they re all gathered to be scorned in perpetuity in our guide to the worst remakes of all time. 换言之,《坎公骑冠剑》结构其实是成熟的手游商业模型,加上有趣的核心玩法,与轻松诙谐的剧情和解谜,最后包裹了一套亲民的2D像素风外衣。
